في نهاية ٢٠٠٩ قامت شركة ياهو بشراء موقع مكتوب و قد افرحنا ذلك بسبب تهافت شركه مثل ياهو على شراء موقع مكتوب و الان تقدم لنا مكتوب برنامج القاموس و يمتاز هذا البرنامج بانه لا يحتاج إلى الاتصال بالإنترنت و لكنه لا يترجم جمله كامله بل فقط يترجم الكلمات

In the end of 2009 yahoo bought an Arabic site called MAKTOOB yahoo did a good step toward Arabic users and this is a very good thing also because MAKTOOB becomes an interest site for a company like yahoo and now MAKTOOB produced a nice Dictionary this program working in offline mode so no need for Internet but this program also can't translate a full sentence but it's easly to translate the words
